Contacting Face Seals
• Designed to prevent leakage of a media (liquid or gas) along rotating shafts
• Use independently or as part of a sealing system

Non-contacting Face Seals
• Hydrodynamic design generates a lubricating film of high pressure air:
enables seal faces to operate in a non-contacting mode
